Office Summer Schedule

The Arroyo Seco Office is open June 16th through 20th from 8 – 4.  We will be closed from 12 – 1 for lunch.

The office will close for summer starting Monday,  June 23rd, and will reopen on Monday, August 4th

If you need to register your child for school, please go on-line to www.livermoreschools.com and complete the online registration.  Take all required documents to our district office at 685 E. Jack London Blvd. Student Services,  If you have questions, Please call student services at 606-3207.

 

Orientation for 2014-15 school year

Friday August 22, 2014 from 4pm-8pm in the multi purpose room.

  • Take a look at all the things we have planned for the upcoming year!  Join the PTA and sign up to participate in PTA programs and events. 
  • Turn in all your paperwork
  • Seco School wear and year book pre-orders will be available for purchase. 
  • Find out your child's teacher (  Info Snap must be complete prior to orientation,  emails will go out later this summer)

BBQ from 5-7pm on the blacktop. 

  • After you've completed orientation,  join us for hot dogs and chips prepared by our very ow Arroyo Seco Boy Scouts.  Meet and mingle with other Seco families and get ready for a new school year!

Family Movie Night starts at dusk.

  • Bring a blanket and settle in for an outdoor movie on the field-

If you would like to help out on the orientation event please contact Soraya Villasenor. We will be needing volunteers for all portions of the evenings events-

Open PTA Chair Positions for 2014-2015!

 

Sign up now to chair a program or event next year! There are many ways you can get involved and make a difference. Without your support we may not be able to offer all of these programs and family events next year. Please contact us to find out more about these fun opportunities. Contact Jennifer at: eeyore174@gmail.com or Tamara at callahan.tamara@gmail.com . Check out the open chair positions we have for next year:

  • Box Tops- organize Box Tops for Books and similar Box Tops events
  • Carnival- organize our annual community event with games and prizes for all to enjoy
  • Copy Parent- head up the copying service offered to teachers and PTA chairs
  • Dinner Auction- coordinate our most profitable annual fundraiser... a great night out for adults!
  • Emergency Bins- maintain all water, dry foods and supplies needed for school in an emergency
  • eScrip- make a difference with little effort-- a quick and easy school fundraiser
  • FAME- coordinate an arts and music appreciation program for our school
  • Fitness Chair- organize our Colts running club, Walkathon, and annual Fun Run
  • Ice Cream Sales- head up Wednesday ice cream sales, as well as Kinder ice cream sales
  • Volunteer Coordinator- recruit volunteers for PTA and school events and programs

Please see the attached flyer about open enrollment and registration information for the 2014-2015 school year.  It is also available on the district website.  Information sessions will be held during the first week in February and registration fair dates this year are Feb. 27-28.

You Shop - Seco Earns Money!

Think of the "fundraisers" we could eliminate if you used these programs!  No extra cost to you!  Seco earns money with your everyday shopping!!

Shop Safeway? Use Safeway's Club Card? 
Register your club card and Safeway will donate a portion of each club card receipt back to Seco!
We are earning an average of $400 month with 30% participation!  Imagine if we had 100% participation - at least $1300 a month!!

Shop Luckys?
Ask how you can get a Luckys SHARES cards and swipe it every time you shop at Luckys and ASPTA gets a percentage of your sales.

Box Tops
Buy items with the Box Tops logo on them, and send it in to your child's teacher. ASPTA gets 10 cents for every Box Top submitted, so start saving and send them in!

Campbell's Soup labels
Save the labels from Campbell's Soup, or the UPC from Pepperidge Farms Cookies and Goldfish crackers, and Seco benefits!

Tyson Chicken
Clip and save the A+ labels from Tyson frozen chicken, and send them in. The school gets 24 cents for each one - it's that simple!

Printer cartridge recycling
Bring in your old toner cartridges for recycling, which is good for Mother Earth, and the teachers get gift cards to different office supply stores, which is good for our teachers. Work at a company that has lots of old cartridges lying around? See if you can bring those to school as well. Click here  for the flyer for more information.
